RD Style Trapeze Shirt (c/o Hailee Grace) // JUST USA Black Skinny Jeans (c/o Hailee Grace) // Dolce Vita Booties // Free People Necklace (similar here, here, and here) // Eileen Fisher Bag (found it on ebay here or similar here) // A.J. Morgan Sunnies

Happy Cinco de Drinko, friends! Or is that just what we used to call it in college?? Once again, a huge thank you to my lovely ladies at Hailee Grace Boutique for letting me borrow this outfit! Also, shout-out to their brand new store on Larimer Square - it is absolutely stunning AND is larger so they can carry more merchandise PLUS shoes, swimwear and sunnies now! If you're in Denver and haven't been in yet, it's worth a trip downtown.

I love a good trapeze shirt because it covers pretty much everything and looks great over skinny jeans. This one is extra wonderful because it's all business in the front, party in the back. Tops and dresses with fun, unique backs have been all the rage for a long time now, and I don't see that trend disappearing anytime soon. The texture of this top is so soft and luxurious, I would honestly sleep in it. A good pair of distressed, black skinny jeans is a wardrobe staple, and this pair fits the bill. There is just enough stretch in these jeans that they don't feel suffocating either.

Can we also talk about Carly's PHENOMENAL camera tricks in this shoot?! She wanted to experiment and I was ALL about it. I think these images are so cool and different. A random skater-by wanted to participate too, so thanks to Chase on the skateboard!

I hope you have some fun weekend plans! We are headed to VEGAS, BABY! I haven't been since I was about 22, so I'm super excited but also a tad anxious because my party skills aren't quite what they used to be... What's new in Vegas? Anyone have any advice for clubs that play hits and not EDM?? I can't stand that clubby UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ music... anyone know what I'm talking about? I want to sing along and spin around like a little kid! It's also Derby weekend, so I will be donning a really cute fascinator-style hat I found on Etsy, and I hope my husband obliges and snaps a few pics so I can blog about it. Stay tuned for a Vegas-themed post.

Have a great rest of your week and weekend,

How cute is Carly's sweet fur-baby, Comma?
