All of the Pretty Things

Anthropologie Wide-Leg Trousers (similar here, here and here with sailor details, and on-sale cropped version here) // ASOS Top (almost identical here) // Michael Antonio Wedges (so affordable!) Prada Sunnies // Steve Madden Bag (sold out, but super cute and on sale option here)

Hi, I'm Michaela, and I'm here to tell you that you TOO can wear wide-leg trousers of the white variety. I always thought my stems were too big or too muscular for this style, but I found these insanely cute trousers with sailor details on sale at Anthropologie and I knew they had to be mine. Unfortunately these exact pants are no longer available but I've linked some similar options above. I have actually tried on the cropped version from Gap, so I can attest that they are really cute on and the quality is great. Since these Anthro pants are high-waisted and have those adorable sailor-style buttons, I wanted to pair them with a cropped top to really show off those details, and this sweet blush pink off-the-shoulder number from ASOS fit the bill. Only negative to this top is that if you raise your arms AT ALL, you will see your entire boob region, so I highly suggest wearing a bra underneath. But blush pink, ruffles, and blossoming trees had me feeling all the girly feels.

We are back from Vegas and had a blast. I had high hopes of getting some outfit snaps, but we were just having too much fun with Chris's brothers and their wives. I hadn't been to Vegas in a long time and wasn't sure what to expect anymore. Well, let me tell you, not much has changed. It's still as lively and bright as ever. We checked out Downtown Las Vegas for the first time (not to be confused with the strip) and really loved it. Lots of retro vibes. We went to dinner at a place called Carson Kitchen downtown and it was phenomenal. If you're ever in Vegas, it's worth the short cab ride from the strip to downtown to check it out, plus all the other old school casinos down there.

In other news, we're working really hard to get our backyard in shape for summer BBQs and wine sessions, so we will be doing more of that this weekend. Hope you all have some fun end-of-the-week plans. Anything you'd like to see next on the blog? Please comment below and let me know!

Wishing you all a happy weekend!
