Gray Matters

Target Coat (similar hereherehere and love this green hooded one) // Free People Denim // Free People Silk Bandana Scarf // Martin + Osa Shirt (old, similar here and here) // Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boots // Tory Burch Bag (similar here, and more affordable option here) // Ray Ban Sunnies

If you love gray, say aye! It goes with everything, it's understated yet chic and classy, and it knows no season. Speaking of seasons, I'm finding it a bit challenging to post pictures of myself THIS bundled up because it's been in the 50s and 60s here in Denver lately. This weekend it's supposed to be near 70 degrees! Sorry to any East Coast readers. I am so ready for spring (who's with me?), but I have to keep reminding myself that it is only February and Colorado's snowiest months are still looming. Or at least historically they are. Who knows these days? Either way, I will keep my warm weather gear in close range for the unforeseeable future.

I have a huge crush on this Free People silk bandana scarf. Gray, yellow, polka dots AND stripes? Swoon. The nice thing about a silky scarf like this one is that it's a great transitional piece for spring. It's light and can be tied in so many different ways to give an outfit an extra element. This would be super cute over tanks and tees in the spring if you need a little hint of warmth. Free People has lots of similar options that are just as crush-worthy: here, here and here. Comment below if you'd like a tutorial on some different ways to tie a scarf like this.
