Confession: This is my mom's dress. She showed up at dinner the other night and I almost tore it off of her right then and there. Thankfully, she said I could borrow it any time. So I did, THE NEXT DAY. Suede+shift+gorgeous chocolatey color = stuff of sartorial dreams. AND, would you believe that it's on sale? Glorious. This neckline allows for really anything underneath. I opted for a blouse with a bow, but this would also look great with a Peter Pan collar (this peach/blush blouse would make a killer combo), a turtleneck, a t-shirt, or with nothing underneath if the weather were a bit warmer. I can also see this look with tights and booties or with some cute flats or slip-on sneaks. Really, the options with this dress are a-plenty, and it's always fun to transform one piece with different layers, colors and accessories.

In other news, my Broncos play the Patriots this Sunday. An always dreaded match-up, but the winner goes to the Superbowl - I can't believe it. Chris and I are going to the game (thanks to my Pops as always) and we.are.pumped. Hope you all have a great weekend! GO BRONCOS!

Carly and I have an uncanny and inadvertent way of picking locations that match my outfit perfectly, like the wall of red leaves in this post and the pink door in this post. Pretty sure my hat was made out of this couch. And the teacup and teapot at this coffee shop coordinated so well with my hat and dress that it was almost funny. Definitely quirky. It's like I'm in kindergarten learning my colors.
