The One With the Duster Debut

Happy Thanksgiving Eve, lovelies! I hope that tomorrow you are exactly where you want to be, surrounded by the people you love and who love you, cooking or being cooked for, warm and cozy around a table or in front of a fire, huddled around the TV for some football, cupping a mug of hot cider or a glass of wine, giving thanks for all you have. On Friday you can go back to focusing on what you DON'T have ;) I kid, mostly. Too often though, I find myself saying "I need this, or I have to have that." Truth is, I don't NEED anything. Everything I truly need, I have. I have a roof over my head, warm clothes, a paying job, food-a-plenty, and a family that loves me endlessly. This time of year especially, take a moment to recognize all the good in your life, and send some of those good feelings out into the world to the ones who are not as fortunate.

Now, to the fun stuff - THE CLOTHES. I bought this duster a bit ago from F21 and haven't really had the chance to don it. I love the endless ways in which you can wear it - over skinny or boyfriend jeans with a t-shirt and sky-high heels, over a dress like I've styled it here, over a romper or pantsuit - you get the point, basically over anything. It has the ability to tie an outfit together and give it that street chic element. I love rolling up the sleeves and leaving it untied because I think that makes it look effortlessly cool.
